John Ziqiang Wu  received his BFA in Fine Art/illustration from Art Center College of Design in 2013 and his MFA in Photo/Media from the California Institute of the Arts in 2017. John’s work has been shown at Grand Gallery Glendale library (2023), Phase Gallery (2022), June Basel in Switzerland (2020), SALT in Istanbul (2018); Shanghai 021 art fair (2020), Art Center College of Design in Pasadena (2020), Armory for the Arts in Pasadena (2020), and California State University of Bakersfield (2019). He was 2019 UCLA Hammer Museum Artist-in-Residence. His work has been collected by the Hammer Museum. Wu has published several artist books, including One Day Intern, The Place and The People; The Lamps’ Story, Dad’s Hands Are Smaller, and Learning Art and Art Learning Society.

Wu has previously received classical art training in China and has mastered his craft. He has 15 years of teaching experience for kids and young, in addition to teaching at colleges and art programs at major art museums. John currently teaches  UCLA, Drawing and Painting courses.

Elaine has received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. She studied in the studio of Professor Michel Badiou, Head of the Department of Visual Communication, at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels, Belgium.

 

Elaine 获得了西安美术学院的文学学士和文学硕士学位。她曾在比利时布鲁塞尔皇家美术学院视觉传达系主任米歇尔·巴丢斯教授的工作室学习。
